Twisted Bindings |
"As so many great inventions do, the Twisted Binding started out as a simple drawing on a cocktail napkin. After years of snowboarding, our end-of-season complaints remained the same: the awkwardness of shuffling through lift lines, the discomfort of getting on and off the lift, the tweaked knees and ankles after a weekend of boards hanging off the chair, getting passed up on the flats by skiers with poles, and the hassle of bringing along tools just to switch our angles as we changed from park to powder runs. In the world’s most innovative sport, bindings had remained basically unchanged since before Shaun White could strap himself in."
"We set out to change that and in the process created a product that we knew would revolutionize snowboarding forever. We took a pretty crappy cocktail napkin drawing to some pretty smart engineers and came up with a light, unobtrusive piece of equipment that allows you to rotate your front foot forward, skateboard style, and in the process takes any pressure off your knees, maximizes your mobility on the flats and between runs, and gives you the freedom to choose the exact stance you want for every run."
Briefly, here is the usefulness of twisted bindings:
- Minimize pain and maximize confort by reducing knee and ankle torque
- Rotate front foot forward- skateboard style- for ease of mibility in lift lines, between runs, and around the resort
- Board the chairlift forward-facing
- Reduce strain on the knees, allowing for a more comfortable chairlift ride
- Customize your stance to any angle for a tool-free change on the go!
